Old Dresser Renewed!

So we had this awesome antique dress with great details but needed an uplift. I lover older furniture because it is built to last. Unfortunately it is often beat up or has an outdated finish. So I redid mine and I spent quite a while sanding it, then priming it, and then painting it. Add some new handles and waa laa....awesome new dresser! I'm never getting rid of this thing now. I love it!

  3. What a fabulous piece you have now and you're right. It was probably made in North Carolina by a company of craftsmen who were proud of the product they created and sold.

  4. I have a similar dresser that I'm about to refinish. Older furniture really does hold up better! I hope you stop by my party and link up…
