Stocking Holder

So I thought I would start sharing some of my Christmas crafts. This is so cute and functional. I hate those little stocking hooks that fall of the bookshelf all the time. I just took a board and painted it dark brown. Then I applied a cracking glaze and painted a top coat of red. I applied some vinyl lettering and found a few different knobs and hooks. I love this! It is my favorite Christmas decoration right now!

Fabulous Fall Wreath

I found this wreath on Just Sew Sassy and I had to make it! I think it turned out great. I used some orange and black stripe fabric instead of burlap for the rosettes. It took a while to cup the burlap squares and lots of hot glue, but it was overall a pretty east project.

(Watch for my Giveaway...coming soon!!)

Menu Chalkboard

I love having this hanging in my kitchen and it was super easy to make. I just found a wooden serving tray at the thrift store and then sanded and painted it. I also put a crackle glaze on it to get the weathered look. The center is painted with chalkboard paint. Easy and awesome!

Summer Wreath

I stole this from another blog but I just love it! All you do is hot glue lima beans onto a Styrofoam wreath and then spray paint it. I glued mine on at a diagonal so I had to adjust it often but I love the way it looks. I want one for every season!

Finally!

So I decided to re-post some of my old craft projects since I have a new blog and new followers. That way I can share my ideas with you. Summer is just too bust for me to work on anything new right now. Anyways these baby closet dividers are awesome. You just buy foam sheets at the dollar store and cut them the size you want with a circle cut out for the rod. Then make a cut on one side so you can slide it onto your closet rod. Decorate them and write the sizes you want. So cheap and a great way to organize!

On Saturday I  participated in Eagle, Idaho's Saturday Market. I didn't make much but it was a gorgeous day and I had fun chatting with people. I am going to do it again this weekend, so we will see how it goes. Wish me luck!

Milk Can Redo

So again I forgot to take a before picture of my two awesome milk cans. But they were much uglier. I got them off of craigslist for $30 which is a steal. They were a dark green covered with this tan texture paint that was peeling off and now they look awesome. I can't wait to get them back to Moscow by my front door! All I did was:
1. Wash them really well
2. Spray paint them blue
3. Dilute brown paint with thinner and brush it on. Then wipe off most of it with a wet towel to get the antiqued look.
